by Nasir al-Din al-Tusi
Akhlāq-i Nāṣirī (Nasirean Ethics) is a philosophical treatise on ethics composed around 633 AH (1235 CE) by Nasir al-Din al-Tūsī. This work synthesizes Greek ethical philosophy—particularly Aristotelian thought—with Islamic ethical traditions. It covers personal ethics, household management, and political conduct, reflecting al-Tūsī’s skill in adapting diverse intellectual traditions to evolving political circumstances under both Ismaili and Mongol Ilkhanate patronage.
